Week of October 4, 2026
2026-10-04Another week of shipping, debugging, and building things that actually matter.
LexioReading
This week was all about resilience and security. I rebuilt the core to be a true offline-first PWA, meaning you can keep reading even when your connection drops. I added hourly server-side snapshot syncing to ensure your progress is always safe, and hardened the entire stack against unauthorized access by moving AI and email logic to secure server-side functions. The app is faster, safer, and ready for the real world.
seemyvoice
Big changes for this project as it shifts focus to broader accessibility. I rebranded to SL Now and gave the interface a fresh coat of blue-green paint. The biggest win is the massive expansion of our sign language library, which now supports over 22 new languages, including LSE, LIS, LSF, DGS, and Auslan. The homepage is cleaner, the video player is punchier, and it is finally easy for users to find the specific sign language they need.
DebateLab
I spent this week cleaning up the architecture and getting the boilerplate auth templates into place. It is currently in a state of foundational growth as I migrate workflows and get the base infrastructure ready for heavy lifting.
CyberForgeSite, PanicStick, PersonalSite, adsbreciver, BatteryRunGameboy
I kicked off a handful of new projects this week. Most notably, I officially spun up my new personal site repo and started tracking a passion project called RCCP-PENCIL. The goal is to build a "techless" alternative to the Apple Pencil using conductive materials, because I am tired of losing or breaking my current one. The other repos are currently in the incubation phase, acting as sandboxes for upcoming experiments.
Time to disconnect for a bit and see what breaks.
